Aignep in Latin America! New branch office!
The International presence of Aignep is growing worldwide. The opening ceremony of the new branch office “AIGNEP LATAM” will happen in the beginning of May 2017. With headquarter in Bogotà, Colombia, the Italian manufacturer of fittings, pneumatics & fluid control systems is getting closer to the Central and South American countries. The intention is to serve an emerging industrial area with particular care. 6 qualified technical people are part of the team. 1 Shop in Bogotà and 1 in Medellin active. “It’s a strategic decision – comments Graziano Bugatti, Managing Director of Aignep – we overcome the difficulty of distance and logistics in view of an exciting growth. This is a unique opportunity that we want to take”. This is the 3rd branch office in America after Aignep USA and Aignep do Brasil.
Products according to US standards
The main office in Bogotà is 400 sqm on two floors. Medellin is mainly a sales point. These new offices will further extend Aignep’s presence and services for all our valued customers in Latin American countries. A large variety of Italian products will be stocked in both cities. For reason of strong US influence in the area, Aignep will also provide a wide range of products according to US standards (ex. NPT threads, inch tube fittings, etc.)
Fast pace of expansion
The opening of this branch office dedicated to Spanish-speaking countries is added to the pre-existent ones in France, Spain, Switzerland, USA & Brasil. The distribution is completed with a widespread network of distributors. Aignep delivers goods in more than 90 countries, confirming its dynamic attitude toward the export markets. A fast pace expansion started in the last 5 years with latest important achievements in 2016: opening of French office and finalization of the new warehouse and workshop in Tennessee. “Our international expansion does not affect our mission of production Made in Italy – underlines the General Manger of Aignep-: with exception of the US branch office where we need to adapt products to local standards.
